A Carbon Net Zero future
We are committed to being Carbon Net Zero by 2030 across Scope 1 and 2 emissions and Scopes 1,2 and 3 by 2045.
Every team and function in our business plays an active part in our advancing journey towards Carbon Net Zero.
Our role as a responsible media and infrastructure company is reflected in our strong commitment to the environment — supporting advertisers, municipalities, and partners in achieving their sustainability goals.
High impact, low energy media
An Outsmart report finds OOH represents 3.3% of the UK's total advertising power consumption and 0.067% of all power consumption, making it the most sustainable brand advertising platform compared to other major media.
This positive outlook on OOH, along with the sector's strides in becoming more sustainable, is thanks to OOH media owners overseeing their entire supply chain and operations from start to finish.

Championing green innovation
We have focused on reducing our carbon footprint and other environmental impacts across our operations, estate and premises while pioneering other environmental initiatives.

Installing LED tubes
We were the first OOH media owner to switch to LED lighting nationwide, cutting energy use in half — today, 100% of our street furniture is equipped.

Reducing water usage
We have implemented an Enhanced Washing System, using rainwater to clean our estate and reducing water usage by 50% per wash.

Greener infrastructure
We have been introducing 100% upcyclable bus shelters and solar-powered courtesy lighting. We encourage the use of refurbished street furniture.

Promoting biodiversity
We're continuing our rollout of Living Roofs nationwide.

Utilising renewables
We installed 600 m² of solar panels on our warehouse, covering 100% of our site’s energy needs and powering our electric vehicles.

Fostering sustainable mobility
Velo Antwerp, our public bike-sharing schemes, enhances urban mobility and contributing to the development of green, accessible, and livable cities.

Urban innovations
We offer green solutions like the Breath®, our innovative banner technology that filters air, captures harmful particles, and releases it purified.

Circular approach
We help customers give their campaign a second life by recycling their assets into bags, pockets, cushion covers, etc.

Station of tomorrow
Commuters benefit from our green rest areas in key train stations to enhance their customer experience.

Air quality monitoring
We provide air quality sensors on our digital screens, giving you easy access to real-time, hyperlocal air quality data.

Printing responsibly
We offer printing with 100% vegetable-based ink (0 solvents) on 100% recycled paper.

Empowering active cycling
We install bike repair stations across Belgium to make cycling more convenient and accessible.
Driving sustainability
We operate in urban environments, so we prioritise having the cleanest vehicles to improve the quality of life for residents in the communities we serve.
As a result, we're replacing company vehicles with electric or hybrid models only. With 82% of our van fleet being already hybrid or electric, we’re going full speed ahead to complete electrification by 2030.
Industry commitments
Our sustainability efforts are underpinned by wider industry commitments. Our Environmental
Management System is ISO 14001 accredited. We’ve been awarded the 'Prime' status, recognizing companies that exceed the industry-specific threshold for sustainability & meet the stringent environmental, social, and governance criteria.
We’ve been the first OOH Media Owner to commit to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), further demonstrating our dedication to becoming a carbon net zero organisation.
These targets provide a clearly defined & publicly recognized pathway for companies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, helping prevent the worst impacts of climate change & ensuring sustainable business growth.
