At this year’s Mixx Awards Belgium 2025, digital out-of-home (DOOH) took center stage, showcasing how data, creativity, and technology are transforming brand communication. For Bauer Media Outdoor, it was a proud moment to see our digital solutions play a key role in several award-winning campaigns that demonstrate the growing influence of DOOH in the Belgian market.

Gold for “The Counter Notification”

In collaboration with AKQA Brussels and GroupM, Bauer Media Outdoor contributed to The Counter Notification campaign for the Vlaamse Stichting Verkeerskunde (VSV), which won Gold for its pioneering use of programmatic DOOH.

The Be Real activation used data-driven triggers and real-time targeting to deliver road-safety messages precisely at moments when distraction risks were highest.
Already a double AMMA winner (Gold and Bronze), the campaign confirms that programmatic DOOH is shaping the future of impactful communication, blending smart data with human-centred storytelling.

Silver for “BIC Lighters x Artcrush.com”

Together with OMD and Billups, Bauer Media Outdoor supported the BIC Lighters x Artcrush.com campaign, which earned Silver for the innovative use of digital screens.
This collaboration shows how art and culture can connect audiences, turning digital screens into creative platforms where brands, networks, and communities meet.
