Carrefour celebrates its 25th anniversary in style with Bauer Media Outdoor

Carrefour is marking 25 years in Belgium and going all out to thank its customers, in collaboration with Bauer Media Outdoor and Urban Media. To celebrate this milestone, the retailer is launching a spectacular and creative national campaign on the iconic More O’Ferrall (MOF) billboards, offering the public a striking and festive experience.

Iconic formats for a memorable anniversary

For this jubilee, Carrefour is taking over More O’Ferrall billboards across the country. Known for their impressive size and premium locations in Belgium’s most vibrant cities, the MOFs deliver unmatched impact and maximum visibility where it matters most.

But the campaign doesn’t stop there: combined with Billboard Live, it rolls out a large-scale, premium digital experience, creating an even more immersive effect.

The “wow” effect in giant 2D

To top it all off, Carrefour adds a playful and festive touch: huge creative 2D cutouts on the MOFs invite the public to scratch and try their luck in stores to win numerous prizes. An activation that blends celebration, emotion, and direct consumer engagement.

“To celebrate 25 years of history and thank all our customers, we created this campaign,” explains Natacha Pierard, Media & Projects Manager at Carrefour Belgium. “In Brussels and Antwerp, we combined the impact of More O’Ferrall and Billboard Live with a strong creative dimension through 2D cutouts that embody Carrefour’s festive spirit — gifts and more gifts!”

The campaign runs until October 12 and is the result of a collaboration between Carrefour, Havas, Publicis Groupe, Urban Media, and Bauer Media Outdoor.
