Bauer Media completes acquisition of Clear Channel Europe-North
Today, Bauer Media Group announces the completion of its acquisition of Clear Channel Europe-North ("Clear Channel Europe"), a leading player in the Out of Home (or "OOH") media sector. This follows the receipt of all necessary approvals and the satisfaction of all regulatory conditions.
Bauer Media is taking a key step in its strategy by completing the acquisition of Clear Channel Europe, strengthening its core media businesses and opening up new digital opportunities. Under the name "Bauer Media Outdoor", the company adds Out of Home advertising to Bauer Media’s offering, a strong strategic complement to its existing Audio and Publishing divisions.
This acquisition is part of Bauer Media’s commitment to delivering high-impact media experiences and driving innovation in the industry. Advertising partners and clients will reap significant benefits from Bauer Media’s enhanced offering and greater reach across 200 magazine brands, 150 audio brands and 110,000 OOH sites.
