Clear Channel takes over all of Halland - 360 signs covered.
Clear Channel wins Hallandstrafiken's advertising procurement and thus continues its strong expansion in Sweden's 20 largest cities. The agreement covers 360 billboards in the region and means, among other things, that Clear Channel takes over JCDecaux's billboards in Halmstad.
- "This is a fantastic opportunity to further strengthen our position in western Sweden and at the same time contribute to a more attractive traveller environment for both residents and visitors in Halland. We look forward to developing local outdoor advertising and creating new opportunities for our customers to reach out with their messages in an effective and relevant way," says Claes Kugelberg, CEO of Clear Channel Sweden.
Over the past year, Clear Channel has won several large procurements around Sweden, most recently with Linköping Municipality. This agreement ensures a broad presence throughout Halland and enables advertisers to communicate effectively with both local residents and visitors.
"We have a clear goal to continue developing the leading reach in the Swedish media market. The fact that we are now taking over another large outdoor contract is a clear sign that we have the right strategy and that we continue to be the natural choice for both municipalities and advertisers.
Kungsbacka municipality has 29 weather shelters with a total of 58 advertising signs, Varberg municipality has 35 weather shelters with 70 signs, Falkenberg municipality has 19 weather shelters with 38 signs and Halmstad municipality has 98 weather shelters with a total of 196 signs. At the start of the contract, around 50 of the weather shelters in Halmstad will be in place, with the remaining weather shelters planned to be built in 2025.
