Social sustainability

We are proud to offer Sweden's largest platform for brands that want to reach and engage people in the places where they live, work and move the most. But we don't stop there. With great opportunities to reach out, we also have a great responsibility to make a difference and we therefore have a clear goal that our presence in the city will contribute to more pleasant, dynamic and sustainable cities.

Since 2021, we have been a signatory to the UN Global Compact, committing to its principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

We are convinced that inclusion and diversity are two crucial issues for a prosperous, pleasant and sustainable city. That is why we choose to enter into partnerships and initiatives where we can help people feel safe, involved and included in the city, and give important social messages a high profile on our platform.

You will find most of our partnerships in the following areas:

  • We use our platform to reach and help people living in homelessness and vulnerability who can be difficult to reach with vital information.
  • The outdoor medium, which is effective in reaching and engaging young people, we choose to utilise this in the several initiatives that involve and affect young target groups.
  • People's equal value and right to take place in the public space is one of our core issues and we collaborate with organisations that share that commitment in Sweden, Scandinavia and around Europe.

Partnerships

We have focused on reducing our carbon footprint and other environmental impacts across our operations, estate and premises while pioneering other environmental initiatives.

Reach for Change

Reach for Change is an international non-profit organisation working towards a world where all children and young people reach their full potential. By supporting local social entrepreneurs to develop innovative solutions, the organisation helps reduce poverty, inequality and the effects of climate change.

Since 2023, we and Reach for Change have had a long-term partnership. Through our platform, we aim to raise awareness of Reach for Change and promote social entrepreneurs' local initiatives for children and young people.

Pride

The development of society and progress for LGBTI people around the world has often started with taking place in the public space. Through our collaboration with various Pride movements, we can help provide the arena to reach out and draw attention to Pride weeks so that they become even bigger.

We co-operate with Stockholm Pride, Oslo Pride and Copenhagen Pride.

Situation Sthlm

Since 2021, we and Situation Sthlm have entered into a long-term partnership. The aim is to make Stockholm a more inclusive city and to make visible those who society does not see and hear through the common platforms.

Talita

Talita is a non-profit organisation that helps women escape prostitution and human trafficking. Since 2020, Talita and we have collaborated on several occasions to reach out with messages that make a real difference.

Child Diabetes Foundation

Since the summer of 2023, the Childhood Diabetes Foundation has had a high profile on our platform. The Children's Diabetes Foundation is actively involved in type 1 diabetes research, and effectively uses outdoor advertising opportunities to get the organisation's important message out to people across the country.

Houses for the homeless

For several years, we have initiated and produced campaigns in favour of people experiencing homelessness. In Helsingborg, homeless people can visit Hemlösas hus, get a hot meal and at the same time be able to feel community and develop as a person. The aim of the house is to act as a social centre that provides a safe environment for homeless people. We are proud to contribute with the design of campaign materials and visibility for the Homeless House campaign in summer 2023.

The Out of home Project - Emergency schemes for people experiencing homelessness

The first initiative we did in the homelessness category was The Out-of-home Project. It was launched in 2018 as an emergency system that guided people to Stockholm's emergency shelters during the coldest months of the year, and has since been activated in winter on several different occasions.

The Out-of-home Project was awarded a Golden Egg in 2019 together with Prime Weber Shandwick.

We have also made other efforts together with Faktum and Stockholm Stadsmission.

Childhood Cancer Foundation

For several years now, the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation has been a high-profile partner on our platform. The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund effectively uses the opportunities of outdoor advertising to reach out with the organisation's important message to people all over the country, something they have also been rewarded for at Guldägget, with, among other things, a silver egg in the Outdoor category in 2020 together with Garbergs.

Purple Flag

Our infrastructure creates safety in the city through protection from the weather and illumination in the dark. At the same time, our platform provides an opportunity to spread messages about safety and security to the residents of the city. Within the framework of our partnership with Swedish City Centres, we collaborate with Purple Flag - where we together raise the issue of safety in urban environments. In 2022, a survey will be conducted on the feeling of safety in city centres.

Sthlm and Malmö Locals

To help keep city life vibrant during Covid-19, Sthlm and Malmö Locals was created - an initiative where regular customers were given the opportunity to support their local favourites that were hit hard during the pandemic, such as restaurants, shops and cafés. Customer recommendations became local guides on our billboards around Stockholm and Malmö.
