A Platform for Good
Doing the right thing is good for everyone
Everyone at Bauer Media Outdoor is aware of the responsibility that we have towards society. We know that we can play a part in making our world a better place to live.
So as a company, we’ve publicly committed to being a Platform for Good. As we continue to innovate, we’re thinking beyond just advertising and asking how each and every display that we maintain and every contract we operate can help to support the public, the environment as well as other organisations working for good.
Being a Platform for Good. It’s in our DNA.
Sustainability & the environment
We continue to reduce our environmental impacts and be more sustainable, not only for the future of our business, but for the future of the planet.
We have a long history of initiatives, innovation, partnerships and projects to reduce our environmental impact and carbon footprint. We are accelerating our journey to be Carbon Net Zero by 2030 (across Scope 1 & 2) and by 2045 (across Scope 3).
Our commitment to communities
We're a very physical part of the communities in which we operate and we believe we have a responsibility to give something back to those communities. Social value quantifies our net social and environmental benefits to society.
Doing our bit
Our charity partners
As a Platform for Good, we support charities and social good organisations that matter to our people, align with our DEI efforts, and benefit the communities we operate in.
Additionally, we collaborate with many other charities throughout the year, lending support where we can.
Special Olympics Ireland
Bauer Media Outdoor has been a dedicated partner of Special Olympics Ireland since the launch of the Special Olympics World Games in 2003. We partner on campaigns and projects that focus on driving inclusion from a intellectual disability perspective. During this partnership we have developed and delivered a significant number of advertising campaigns to support and build awareness across collection days, volunteer programmes and the Summer and Winter World Games.
