Bauer Media Outdoor's advertising spaces have been given the full glam treatment in connection with the new Netflix campaign for Queen Charlotte. The outdoor campaign is worthy of a queen.

- In this campaign, we pay tribute to Queen Charlotte. That's why some advertising surfaces have been given a custom-made gold frame, and details in the crown and jewellery have been given foil and light. This adds style and luxury to the advert, which shows Queen Charlotte's transition to womanhood and power," says Hanna Reuterwall, Marketing Manager Nordics at Netflix.

The campaign is a pure Create campaign, as Bauer Media Outdoor calls its creative campaigns that go beyond the standard formats. The glamorous campaign can be seen in both Sweden and Norway. In Sweden, there are now ten spots around the streets of Stockholm, while in Norway there are 24 spots in 12 locations around the capital.

"Our goal is to make Queen Charlotte the 'must see' series of the spring. Based on the beautiful Bridgerton story, we're travelling back in time and following Queen Charlotte as she embarks on the beginning of her reign, introducing an expansion of the universe.

Wow factor

The campaign "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story" can be seen on Bauer Media Outdoor's sites in Oslo in weeks 18 and 19. Wavemaker is the media agency behind the campaign. Kaja Nygaard is the responsible salesperson, with creative support from Isabel D. Brodtkorb, who is responsible for the Create campaigns at Bauer Media Outdoor. Isabel and her team have had their hands full in recent years.

The creative campaigns often provide a wow factor and get a lot of attention - both on the street and in social media. That's one of the reasons why this is one of our most sought-after products.

She believes it's strategically wise to use creative elements as a campaign booster. "It doesn't have to be very expensive or fully developed. Isabel has a background in advertising, and together with salespeople and the Create team, they can manage the creative campaigns - from idea to finished product.

-"In this campaign, we've used a combination of matt and glossy print and silver foil. The jewellery has flashing LED lights to create a sparkling effect. The icing on the cake in this campaign is, of course, the beautiful gold frames that really stand out in the cityscape," says Brodtkorb.
