The well-being of society

We support the well-being of society as a rent payer - we pay rent to several cities, the ports of Helsinki and Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, for example, which are an important part of the economic functioning of the whole country. We also bring benefits to the business community, for example in terms of employment and taxpayers, and provide a responsible media channel for marketing our products and services.

We are building a responsible, smarter and more vibrant city for all. We take into account the surrounding environment and adapt our actions to it. We make everyday life easier for citizens and improve the functionality and comfort of cities with advertising-funded bus shelters, electric car charging points, city bikes and Agora vending machines.

Outdoor advertising enables bus shelters, which are financed by advertising revenues. At the same time, bus stop advertising surfaces provide a platform for socially relevant topics, reaching a large number of passengers.

City bikes - the low-emission mode of transport of the future

Advertising funding will enable an extensive and affordable city bike network in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Turku. In addition to the health benefits, promoting cycling will bring comfort, more efficient use of space and time savings, and improve road safety.

The growth in parcel traffic is a global megatrend and requires new logistics solutions. Parcel vending machines can reduce congestion, delivery costs and CO2 emissions (3).

Support for non-profit organisations

We offer free media coverage to non-profit organisations such as health and social organisations, charities and public authorities.

Our financial responsibility

We are part of a global group, but we pay our taxes in Finland. We strive to favour local partners and subcontractors, thereby supporting Finnish employment. We have been awarded the Finnish Strongest Platinum certificate, a mark of positive financial ratios, creditworthiness, background and good payment behaviour. Only 12% of companies meet the criteria for the certificate.

The organizations we support with the Pro Bono Media space

The Salvation Army has featured extensively in our outdoor advertising network for several years.

Among other things, the Help the People campaign and the more than 100-year-old Christmas Pot collection help the needy in Finland.

MIELI The Finnish Mental Health Association aims to promote mental health and prevent mental health problems.

Over the years, MIELI's campaigns have been seen in our network, for example in connection with youth well-being, suicide prevention and the Peace of Mind collection.

The partnership between HelsinkiMission and Bauer Media Outdoor has lasted well over ten years.

Through our cooperation, HelsinkiMission has gained extensive visibility for its work in the urban landscape, increasing brand awareness. In addition, the campaigns have brought new volunteers into the organisation's activities.
