Bauer Media Outdoor support both digital and dynamic campaigns across Metro, Street, Malls and Airport locations. With our advanced technological setup and access to first-party data, you can target your messages and leverage the benefits of Programmatic Digital Out-of-Home (pDOOH) buying.
Digital campaigns can be either static or dynamic
With a static digital campaigns content remains unchanged throughout the entire campaign period. You upload .mov or .mp4 files to us in advance, which we display at scheduled times during your campaign period. For a Dynamic campaigns content is delivered via URL, allowing you to modify the content yourself throughout the campaign period.

Export settings
Ad length: Playtime can be 5, 10 or 15 seconds. Please verify ad length in your order confirmation. A static is required (only for Play National/ Play Street) (.jpg/.png)
File format: .mov. or .mp4. (Static material is delivered as .jpeg or .png, 72 ppi.)
Codec: h.264.
Bitrate: Max 20 000 kb/s.
Framerate: 25 fps.
Name your files like this: Order number_Client_Campaign week_Media.
Co-branding?
If you intend to advertise together with another brand, we must be notified of this no later than 4 weeks before the start of the campaign to ensure delivery of the reserved campaign.
QR-codes
It is permitted to use QR codes in your advertisement. However, QR codes must be approved if the campaign period is more than 8 weeks. For further information, kindly reach out to your contact person.
Danish Marketing Act
It is the advertiser’s responsibility to ensure that the layout or design does not conflict with the Danish Marketing Act or infringe third party intangible rights, and that the material complies with the stated specifications.
Dynamic HTML campaign
A dynamic HTML campaign should consume an average of 0,5 MB per displayed slot over a 24 hour period. If this consumption is exceeded, Bauer Media Outdoor reserves the right to pause the campaign.
- Browser: Chromium version 80. The campaign should be produced within the limits of functionality of Chromium version 80.
- Please note that we cannot guarantee functionality if other Chromium versions are used.
- The connection is via 4G. In order to make sure that the connection is enough (e.g for streaming) we always need to try the material on selected places where the campaign will run.
- Resolution: 1920×1080, 1260×720, 1024×576, 640×352, 568×320, 568x320px and 1440×810. Please check the bought areas.
Tips to reduce the data usage of your campaign:
- Refrain from using cache busters.
- Compress media files.
- Add http headers for Cache-Control: public, max-age=31536000.
- Let service workers manage traffic (e.g. workbox with cache only strategy & use Cache API to add media to the cache).
- Serve media without ranges, http headers: Accept-Ranges: none.
Deadlines
- Static: At least 5 days prior to campaign start
- Dynamic: At least 3 days prior to campaign start, all files must be submitted to us in order to secure a problem free delivery.
- Dynamic HTML: Minimum 10 working days before campaign start.
Special Guidelines for Lending Companies and Gaming Operators
In accordance with Act No. 801 of 09/06/2020, also known as the "Quick Loan Act" (L 149), Bauer Media Outdoor has implemented specific guidelines to ensure responsible advertising across our media platforms.
To protect particularly vulnerable consumer groups and comply with the legislative intent, we have introduced the following restrictions:
Lending companies and gaming operators/betting companies may not advertise simultaneously on our Adshel surfaces, in our shopping centers (Malls), or on our metro and street surfaces. This is to avoid situations where consumers are simultaneously exposed to both borrowing opportunities and gambling offers, which could potentially lead to inappropriate financial decisions.
In our airport areas, even stricter rules apply, where gaming operators and betting companies are not permitted to advertise at all. This aligns with international guidelines for responsible advertising in transportation hubs.
These guidelines form part of our commitment to ensuring that our advertising surfaces are used in a socially responsible manner that respects both legislation and consumer interests.
